Catalogue · Fancy Sapphire
Fancy Sapphire — styles you will see at the showroom.
Everything corundum does apart from blue and red ends up in this case — and the rarest colour of all lives here.
A representative selection. Stock turns over daily, so treat these as the house style rather than a list of what is in the case today.
What to look at
Padparadscha sits between pink and orange, named after a lotus blossom, and it is the one fancy sapphire that reliably outprices good blue. The line between padparadscha and a plain pink or orange stone is narrow and argued about by laboratories, so for anything expensive the certificate matters more than the tray label.
Beyond it the case runs through violet, green, teal, colourless and grey. These are the stones to look at if you want something nobody at home will have: prices are far below blue sapphire of the same size, and a colour that fits the person wearing it beats a canonical hue that does not.
